SRR Gatekeeper Instructions

Here are some suggestions & info about our gatekeeper coordinators and cancellations:

Suggestions:

Before entering the gate at SRR confirm attendees have submitted LCSLO waiver form. Per LCSLO requirement, we cannot admit them if they haven’t. There is usually enough cell coverage that the attendee can submit their waiver at the gate if they haven’t already done so.

Ask about a bathroom stop on the way in. Note we should only use the 1st bathroom inside the door

Take a copy of SRR info (attached) and review key points before you start fishing.

Let’s protect this fishery by reminding attendees to PINCH BARBS and CUT OFF any flies taken deep.

LOGGING VOLUNTEER HOURS HELPS LCSLO APPLY FOR GRANTS AND CONTINUE TO BUILD THEIR VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS. ON THE DAY YOU ARE A GATEKEEPER WE NEED YOU TO REPORT OUR VOLUNTEER HOURS TO OUR COORDINATORS.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE: 6 VOLUNTEERS AT 6 HOURS EACH TOTAL 36 HOURS. THAT IS ALL. NO NAMES ARE REQURIED s

Coordinators:

There are three coordinators. They will be coordinating either first half or second half of month on a rotating schedule.

You or members can contact them for help if needed.

Once we have monthly schedule from Bob & know the gatekeepers we will enter the Events for the month in the system and we will RSVP for you leaving 5 openings.

The Event time will be 7 AM to 1 PM unless you tell us you want to change when you sign up for a date.

Your name and phone number are shown on the event.

RSVP will start on first day of each month and end the day before the Event (i.e. for 5/10 event RSVP starts 5/1 and ends at 11:59 5/8.

You can view your attendees by opening the Event page on the website and find your date. If you look down a couple lines below the date in small print you can click on “view attendees”. Attendee contact info can be found on the club roster if needed.

Cancellations: in the info sent to members we’ve asked them to contact you if they need to cancel. If you’ll notify us we will delete them and add back the RSVP.

The Coordinator will be keeping a standby list of members who want to fish if there are vacancies. They will notify you of the final list of participants the day before the event.
