One of the benefits of membership is an active, experienced fly tying group that meets monthly. The group is open to all members and welcomes new and experienced tiers.
Each month a group member volunteers to teach a fly. Often it is one that can be used during an upcoming club trip or outing.
The tying instructions should be all you need to replicate the fly at your tying bench.
Clicking the name of the fly in the list below will take you to the complete instructions. If you have questions about tying the fly or suggestions for improving the pattern, please contact the tying instructor listed with the fly. You will find the phone number and email address in the roster in the Members Only section of this website.
The fly tying group meets monthly at the Odd Fellows Hall, 520 Dana St., San Luis Obispo 93401. Contact Jim Snodgrass (see roster for phone and email address) for more information. The map below gives you directions. Please join us.
